VISUAL ARTS INSTRUCTOR | TEXTILE ART | ECO ART

I’m a multidisciplinary visual artist and arts educator who loves experimenting with both traditional and recyclable materials. My creative practice explores how these materials can be remixed and repurposed into unconventional and culturally inspired works of art.
Most recently, I’ve expanded my creative journey into wearable art, making handmade yarn jewelry and accessories. My first collection focuses on crocheted earrings, each one uniquely crafted, just like you and me. Lightweight, colourful, and full of personality, they’re designed for everyday wear and to bring a touch of artistry to your style.
Over the years, I’ve developed and facilitated children’s and family art workshops for a wide range of clients, from Harbourfront Centre and the Toronto Public Library to the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), Barbados Tourism, and Culture Days. I’ve also been commissioned to create murals by the City of Toronto and several Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) as part of community street beautification projects. My illustration work has appeared on cover and poster art for multidisciplinary arts festivals.
I’m an Honours graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCAD U), where I received two prestigious awards recognizing my practice in Drawing and Painting.
My professional background spans visual art instruction, arts education, and arts administration; including work as a Research Assistant on McGill University’s groundbreaking National Arts & Youth Demonstration Project, which explored ways to increase racialized and Indigenous youth participation in afterschool arts programs. I also served as Program Manager at Urban Arts Community Arts Council in Toronto, developing and facilitating innovative art programs for youth.
My work and community projects have been featured on CTV News, CBC Radio, TVO Kids, and in Share Newspaper.
When I’m not creating, you can find me in my kitchen cooking up something plant-based. I also have a weakness for a good Boston Cream vegan donut, enjoy playing around with fashion, and on most days I'm at the gym lifting weights or going for a swim. Fitness, creativity, and self-expression are all essential parts of my lifestyle and the energy I bring into everything I create.
